You may be missing teeth as a result of facial trauma, development issues or periodontal disease. There is nearly always a bone loss issue that accompanies loss of natural teeth.
When this is the case, our steps to replacement of missing teeth starts with rebuilding the bone foundation to support implants. This is referred to as “bone grafting” or “ridge augmentation”.
We have specific ways to regenerate this lost gum tissue and bone volume and set the stage for placement of dental implants. The reconstructed bone and soft tissue will then surround implants to securely anchor them. This can then be followed by placing crowns on these implants to replace missing teeth.
